(Derived from Psalms 84)
How lovely is your dwelling place
Oh Lord of Host
My heart and my flesh
Is made to boast
In My God who has room
For a Sparrow
And has a nest
Even for a swallow
Blessed are those
Who come into your house
For they shall be praising you
With their mouths
Blessed is the man
Who finds strength in you
As well as one who puts
His trust in you
Even though they pass through
The valley of Baca
They say,"Hear my prayer, give ear
Oh God of Jacob!"
Look upon our shield and upon
The face of the anointed
For a day in your courts
Is better than a thousand with the wicked
As you are, my Lord, a sun and a shield
And will give grace and glory
No good thing will you withhold
From those who walk uprightly
Glory to G od for this. David knew that a man can rely on God for strength("Blessed is a man who finds strength in you"). It is December 12,2008 currently and most are being frantic about this economic time. David said "Even though they pass through the valley of Baca, they say 'Hear my prayer, give ear, oh God of Jacob' ." I believe in my heart that Baca that was desolate of life, like a desert, a place that was of famine, but yet, a man can cry out to God and recieve strength from him. From God there's life, through Jesus comes life, and the Holy Spirit breathes life. IF you're in that valley, be encourage to call on the Lord and remember the great things he has done for you. He is worthy of praise and Honor. With God you will make it through the fire, as Psalms 71:20 says," You have made me endure many terrible troubles. You restore me to life again. You bring me back from the depths of the earth."(god's word translation). The Lord will revive you again. Hold on tight, never give up and call on Jesus and he'll keep you through the storm.
