America, where do you stand?

On Monday, October the 20th, I had the priviledge to go to a convention,I guess you would call it, or maybe a service. It was a mix of a worship concert and an informing time based on Amendment 2, the law to abolish homosexual marriage in the State of Florida. Little did and still do at this point, know about the legal statute. A few ministers from organizations put their input of what God has given them for us Christians to fight for righteousness and getting others to do so. One man of God, who is Harry B. Jackson , used the passage of 1 kings 18 when Elijah was sent to challenge the prophets of Baal to call on their God to see which God is true,but in verse 37,"O Lord answer me! Answer me so these people will know that you,O Lord, are God and that you have brought them back to You." The purpose was for everyone who believed in the false God Baal to come back to the true God yahweh with their hearts. In America, we have so many gods and homosexuality is one of them. US christians need to be like that one man Elijah, to rise up against 450 prophets of baal and 400 prophets of asherah, and take a stand against homosexuality. I felt the Lord say,"America, where do you stand?" America is watching a battle between The God of Elijah and the God of this world right now,especially in these election or even so just for this amendment. Jesus said that we are either for him or against him in anything that we do. We must be on the side of righteousness and vote yes on Amendment 2 on November 4th. I do not know if the amendment will be apart of early voting but inquire of it anyway and see!
